In January 2023, Minister of the Interior Annelies Verlinden visited GR Technics in Beerse.
The company visit was part of the Day of the Entrepreneur, organized by UNIZO, and offered a unique opportunity to get to know our company and expertise up close.
18 years of experience in innovative security technology
Managing Director Gunter Roefs founded GR Technics in 2005. Since then, we have grown into an international player in the development of mobile lighting and camera masts under the brand name STALICO®. These are used on construction sites, festivals and large-scale events, such as Tomorrowland, The Tall Ships Races or the E3 Prize in Harelbeke.
"We don't just build towers. We deliver custom solutions that are completely tailored to the specific needs of our customers," Roefs said.
Also recognized far beyond Belgium
Today, 65% of our production goes abroad, including Germany, Austria and Poland. For example, our towers were used by the Polish state security for border surveillance on the Ukrainian border, among others. This international demand confirms our technical expertise and product reliability.
Confidence of professionals
We also remain a reliable partner within Belgium. So says Neil Broos of security firm Securitas, a customer for 12 years:
"GR Technics delivers top quality and service. For real-time camera surveillance commissioned by the police, we can always count on fast, correct delivery - often even within 24 hours."
A look behind the scenes
UNIZO invited Minister Verlinden because of her competence on homeland security, and the link with our technologies used by police and security services. The minister showed himself impressed:
"It is impressive what handsome companies operate here in Beerse. In times when online security is becoming increasingly crucial, it is reassuring that we can count on top quality locally as well."
